Over the years we have developed numerous event formats that have now become established fixtures. Here is an overview of our main formats:
The German-Baltic Conference is one of our main events and takes place every year in October in a Baltic city. Its aim is to connect young people, especially those living in Germany and the Baltic States, and to strengthen their voice in politics. As youth ambassadors, the participants in four different clusters write a policy paper, which is then handed over to decision-makers. At the same time, a conference of the German-Baltic Youth Exchange Network (GBYEN) takes place, where representatives of German and Baltic youth organizations draw up guidelines on common challenges.
How long? 4 days (Thursday-Sunday)
Who? 36 Youth Ambassadors, 4 Heads of Cluster, about 35 GBYEN representatives (primarily from Germany, the Baltic States and Ukraine)
Where and when? in a Baltic city alternating between Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania (in October)
